We continue to closely monitor guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local health officials for guidance in making informed decisions. Because we are committed to make buying and selling your home the finest experience possible, here are some of the steps we are taking:

Safety Measures

• Extensively cleaning on a daily basis and sanitizing high impact touch areas with the ability to conduct additional cleaning if necessary.
• Asking our agents and staff to keep themselves safe by frequently washing their hands and requiring that they stay home if sick.
• Encouraging employees and agents to work from home utilizing phone, text, video conferencing, and email to conduct business.
• Eliminating out-of-state business travel for our employees and non-essential visits from outside vendors.

Office Visits

• At this time, our offices in the Greater Richmond area are open for business and ready to serve our clients within the CDC's recommended 10-person limit in shared spaces.
• We are happy to make accommodations for your comfort level during this time and can offer many services virtually, such as Buyer Consultations done through video chat and tours of potential houses.

Open Houses

• We are encouraging agents to show homes by appointment only.
• If an agent and seller make a decision to hold an open house, it must be in alignment with the 10-person limit in a social space, practicing social distancing.
• We are encouraging agents to provide alcohol-based hand sanitizers in the entryway and soap and disposable towels in bathrooms and to consider asking open house visitors to disinfect their hands upon entering the home.

In light of recent developments surrounding the spread of COVID-19, it has become clear that the world is facing an unprecedented event. I am implementing the following precautions to address the spread of COVID-19 Coronavirus:

* Adhering to all CDC protocols and guidelines, at a minimum. I am balancing the needs of my clients (sellers and buyers) who have housing needs, by eliminating open houses until April 6, avoiding large gatherings and encouraging creative, efficient ways of exposing or showing homes during this crisis.

* Actively assessing risks in real-time to ensure the safety of our community, clients, friends, and family. As I obtain more information, I will adjust my plan, as necessary.

* Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and sanitation practices in my office, home, and car. I am committed to keeping spaces and belongings clean and sanitized. While I assess the safety of doing so, I am available by phone, video chat, or email. 

* Encouraging the use of booties, soap, wipes and hand sanitizers in common areas if a showing does take place at a vacant and occupied homes. 

* Recommending that you stay home when feeling sick and lets chat on FaceTime and I can take you for a virtual tour of homes you are interested in. I have a lot of resources at my fingertips to help with your search. 

* Conducting fewer face to face meetings and leveraging technology to reduce the opportunities to spread the virus further. We have so many options available to make the selling and buying process continue.  

For my clients:

I am already prepared to move my business online, from virtual meetings, video tours, FaceTime/Skype showings, hands-free open house registration ( after April 6), digital signatures, and online transaction management system. I understand that there are many concerns around COVID-19 and I want to assure you that I am working hard to protect my clients, staff, and tenants to prevent the spread of disease while doing my best to continue helping you buy or sell a home.

Some Highlights

There are plenty of gyms and community sports centers where you can enjoy a game or get your brand of exercise. Basketball, softball, tennis, swimming, and more are popular here.

Because the weather is so mild most of the year, you'll find plenty of indoor and outdoor courts to choose from. Plus, many communities have adult leagues and weekend teams to join. Of course, kids, teens, and twenty-somethings will find plenty of opportunities.

   Henrico County Open Gym Programs are operated by the Department of Parks & Recreation. Two different county facilities are actively offering open gym time, including Eastern Henrico Recreation Center and Deep Run Recreation Center. Both these modern, stylish facilities are fully stocked with indoor and outdoor b-ball opportunities as well as fun for the whole family.
5. Shady Grove Family YMCA – 11255 Nuckols Road, Glen Allen, VA 23059
   Shady Grove Family YMCA is one of the most beloved of the 17 YMCA campuses sprinkled throughout the Richmond area.
