Minor League Baseball

Richmond homes for sale are great for Minor League Baseball fans. The RVA is well known for its community of passionate sports fans. In the Minor Leagues, Richmond's Flying Squirrels consistently attracts some of the biggest crowds.

As part of the Eastern League, the Flying Squirrels hold the status of the Double-A affiliate for the San Francisco Giants. They play at The Diamond on Arthur Ashe Boulevard, with a total seating capacity of 12,134. In past seasons, The Diamond has served as host to a range of play-offs and tournaments.

State Park

Spanning nearly 8,000 acres, Pocahontas State Park is Virginia's largest state park. It was first opened in 1946 and was developed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the hills and valleys surrounding Swift Creek.
